TNB Smart Strategic Business Partnership Townhall 2026

On 31 July 2026 (Friday), the Kedah Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KICCI), in collaboration with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), successfully organized the TNB Smart Strategic Business Partnership Townhall 2026 at Purest Hotel, Sungai Petani, Kedah.

The programme brought together entrepreneurs, SMEs, business owners, and professionals for an informative knowledge-sharing session aimed at strengthening collaboration between the business community and TNB.

The event began with a welcome address by Mr. Subramaniam Muthusamy, Secretary of KICCI, followed by a welcome address from the TNB Kedah Management. The programme was also attended by KICCI Committee Members Mr. Ramesh Natarajan, Mr. Manivasagam Subramaniam, and Miss Koamathi Supramanian, demonstrating KICCI’s commitment to supporting business development initiatives.

Participants gained valuable insights through presentations on the Green Electricity Tariff (GET), Solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), commercial power solutions, workplace safety, smart meter initiatives, and energy efficiency services. An interactive Q&A session and the myTNB Service Counter provided attendees with direct assistance and practical solutions to their business and electricity-related enquiries.

KICCI extends its sincere appreciation to the entire TNB Kedah Team for their excellent presentations and commitment, as well as heartfelt thanks to all entrepreneurs, SMEs, business owners, professionals, committee members, and participants whose support made the programme a great success.

The President of the Kedah Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KICCI), Mr. Shreekanth Sibastin, together with Vice President Mr. Kumaresan Ramanathan, attended the 90th Anniversary Gala Dinner of the Kedah Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCCI) and the 14th Anniversary Celebration of its Youth Entrepreneurs Committee, held at Frazer Expo & Convention Hall, Alor Setar, on 13 June 2026.

The prestigious event was officiated by YAB Dato’ Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, Menteri Besar Kedah. Also in attendance was YB Tuan Steven Sim Chee Keong, Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives.

This distinguished celebration brought together industry leaders, government representatives, business communities, and honoured guests from within and outside the state. The event served as an excellent platform to strengthen business networks, foster strategic collaborations, and promote closer ties among the diverse business communities in Kedah.

KICCI extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Kedah Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCCI) on the remarkable milestone of its 90th anniversary. We wish KCCCI continued success and excellence in driving economic growth, entrepreneurship development, and business prosperity in the State of Kedah.
